Minister Han meets U.S. Secretary of Agriculture

Minister Han Changfu met with the visiting U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)Secretary Tom Vilsack in Beijing on Dec.18th, 2013.
Secretary Tom Vilsack is a member of the US delegation for the 24th Session of the China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) in Beijing.
During the meeting,both sides discussed matters concerning the Second U.S.-China Agricultural Symposium, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture on Cooperation in Agriculture and Related Fields, and agricultural trade issues of common interest.
Both sides agreed on enhancing communication and coordination to promote in-depth bilateral agricultural cooperation in a down-to-earth manner.
